CASI Youth Mentoring Series 2026/27
CASI has formed a special partnership with the Carmel Youth Center to provide a monthly youth mentoring series for the 2026/27 school year. Emphasis is placed on practical subjects rarely taught in public school curricula: personal finance, breaking into adult creative and scientific careers, starting a business, energy and water policy, and self-discovery.
CASI Student Art Contest
Open to high school students throughout Monterey County and Central California. Categories include plein air painting, digital illustration, and sculpting. Cash prizes and exhibition showcase at the annual CASI Summer Gala.
Documentary & Film Competition
Mentored by master filmmakers and journalists, students create short documentaries exploring local ecology, coastal history, or scientific innovation.
CASI University Scholars
Direct scholarship grants awarded to outstanding high school seniors pursuing degrees in STEM, fine arts, economics, or environmental sciences.
School Assembly Mentoring
CASI dispatches top scientists, NASA astronauts, CEOs, and authors to give interactive keynote talks and Q&A sessions at public and private schools.
